Grand Rapids Native Alvin “Goozie” Hines to Make UFC Debut on Saturday

Alvin "Goozie" Hines will fight Jhonata Diniz at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 317.

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- a Grand Rapids native is set to make his UFC debut this upcoming Saturday.

Alvin “Goozie” Hines will fight Jhonata Diniz at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 317.

So far, Hines has posted a unbeaten 7-0 pro MMA record with his most recent win coming on April 11th against Billy Ray Valdez via the knockout.

Goozie is coached locally by Tat Romero in Superior.

His fight is set to take place on the early prelim portion of the card, which begins at 5:30 PM central time.
