Coffee Conversation: FinnFest Returns to Duluth This Month

DULUTH, Minn. — FinnFest is making a much-anticipated return to Duluth from July 31 to August 3, bringing with it a vibrant celebration of Finnish culture, traditions, and innovation.

Executive Director Ira “Mimmu” Salmela joined Fox 21 live Thursday morning to share the excitement.

Held at the DECC, the four-day event will feature traditional and contemporary Finnish music, authentic cuisine, Nordic art and design, interactive workshops, and engaging presentations by global experts.

A highlight for many is the Tori Market, a bustling showcase of Nordic goods and gifts — free and open to the public.
