Victim Identified In Fatal Jump From Falls Of Tettegouche State Park

SILVER BAY, Minn. – A man who drowned after jumping off the High Falls in Tettegouche State Park Monday has been identified.

He is Gregory Corniea, 54, of Edina.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said it appeared the victim hit his head on rocks near the base of the falls.

The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. while the man was visiting family.
