Duluth Native Greg Anderson Set to Race at Brainerd International Raceway Once Again
Anderson is chasing his 4th win at the B-I-R.
BRAINERD, Minn.- For the 3rd straight year, Duluth native Greg Anderson is set to compete at the Brainerd International Raceway for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals.
Anderson achieved a bit of history earlier this season when he became the 2nd NHRA driver ever to reach 1,000 round wins.
Currently, he sits 2nd in the standings and is chasing his teammate Dallas Glenn, who is 37 points ahead of Anderson.
The Denfeld grad said it’s a friendly rivalry between the two but added he’s all business when he takes a seat in the race car.
“Don’t get me wrong when you stage that race car, no matter who’s in the other lane whether it’s Dallas or whether it’s the other groups or other team, whether it’s Erica Enders or whoever. You want to win. After it’s all said and done, if you don’t find a way to get it done, I can live with it if it’s Dallas Glenn because yes I had a lot to do with it. He’s my teammate and it’s for the good of KB Titan. But, don’t get me wrong, I try as hard as I can to find a way to get around him,” said Anderson.
Anderson is chasing his 4th win at the B-I-R.
The races begin Thursday and finish up on the 17th.
