Local Pitcher Signs Special Jersey for St. Luke’s
DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Huskies Pitcher Nick Terhaar is getting ready for playing baseball in college for Iowa, but he’s leaving behind a bit of his legacy in the form of a special signed jersey.
The jersey is Star Wars themed, from a special night heading into the playoffs, and it was auctioned off for the St. Luke’s Foundation.
Terhaar’s doctor, Dr. Lee Kenyon, placed the winning bid.
In doing so he demonstrated his support to the players he works with, and his support to patients at Aspirus St. Luke’s.
“We take a lot of pride in being able to provide medical care for the Huskies, as well as other surrounding athletes in sports. So it’s, it’s great to be able to put this up on our walls and remember the sports in the area and remind us of the great athletes here and what we do.” said Dr. Lee Kenyon, Sports Medicine Specialist at Aspirus St. Luke’s.
The jersey will be on display in the Orthopedics Office at St. Luke’s.
