Ravens Waive Former UMD Tight End Sam Pitz
Pitz is now free to sign with any of the other 31 teams in the NFL.
DULUTH, Minn.- Former UMD tight end Sam Pitz is no longer a member of the Baltimore Ravens.
Earlier this month, the team waived the Appleton native after originally signing him back on April 26th.
Pitz is now free to sign with any of the other 31 teams in the NFL.
During his time as a Bulldog, number 0 had 16 touchdowns in 44 games. He also had 940 total yards and averaged 13 yards per catch.
Offensive lineman Aiden Williams remains the lone former Bulldog in a NFL camp as he’s under contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
