UW-Superior Names Track After Longtime Coach & Community Leader Dan Conway

A sign honoring Conway has been installed at the stadium.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The track at SCCU Stadium in Superior has a new name.

On Tuesday, the school announced that they are dedicating the track in honor of former coach, mentor, and community leader, Dan Conway.

Conway began his journey at UWS, where he was a sprinter for track and a halfback for the football team.

He then went on to coach and teach while also being a world-class runner.

A sign honoring Conway has been installed at the stadium.
