Girls Soccer: Esko & Proctor Pick Up Home Wins, Duluth Denfeld Falls Short to Roseville

Esko is back at home on Wednesday, August 27th against Cloquet-Carlton. 

ESKO, Minn.- The Esko girls soccer team held their home opener on Monday night as they took on East Grand Forks.

They end up defending their home turf, defeating the Green Wave 3-1 to improve to 2-0.

Game time is at 3 p.m.

Over in Proctor, the Rails hosted Hibbing/Chisholm with both teams in search of their first win of the season.

After a scoreless first half, the Rails scored six goals to defeat the Bluejackets 6-0.

Proctor’s next game is on Thursday, August 28th against Hermantown.

Game time is at 6 p.m.

For the Bluejackets, their next game is on Tuesday, August 26th, against East Grand Forks.

Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

In section 7AA, the Duluth Denfeld Hunters hosted Roseville.

It was a close battle between the Hunters and the Raiders all game long.

But ultimately, the Raiders defeated the Hunters 3 to 1.

Duluth Denfeld is back in action on Tuesday, September 2nd, against Two Harbors.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
