Prep Volleyball: Hermantown & Duluth East Earn Five-Set Victories

Esko was the runner-up in Section 7AA and Hermantown won the Section 7AAA title last season.

ESKO, Minn.- Two teams that were in their respective section titles last season met up in prep volleyball as Esko hosted Hermantown on Tuesday night.

In the end, Hermantown was able to take down Esko 3-2.

Esko is now 1-1 and will play at Carlton/Wrenshall on Thursday.

As for Hermantown (2-1), they are at Princeton on Thursday.

In other volleyball action, Duluth East rallied from a two set deficit to win in five.

The Lumberjacks (1-1) will next be at Princeton on September 2nd.

Duluth East (1-1) hosts Centennial on Friday.
