Steelers Release Former Bulldog Aiden Williams from Practice Squad

Williams had been on the team's practice squad for the last six days.

PITTSBURGH, Penn.- Former UMD offensive lineman Aiden Williams has once again been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Williams had been on the team’s practice squad for the last six days.

If this is it for the guard in the steel city, he ends his campaign suiting up in one preseason game and playing 54 snaps against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He also missed two preseason games while dealing with a leg injury.

Williams is now free to sign with the other 31 NFL teams or like before could be brought back to the Steelers practice squad.
