1 dead in Gary New Duluth hit and run, suspect detained

UPDATE: Officials say a suspect in the Gary New Duluth hit-and-run has been detained.

DULUTH, Minn. — A 37-year-old man is dead after a hit and run in Gary New Duluth Thursday morning.

According to officials, at around 6:30 a.m., police responded to the report of a man who was found dead in the road on 101st Avenue West.

Officials say that early investigations show the man may have been hit by a vehicle.
