Bemidji State Spoils Home Opener for UMD Women’s Soccer

UMD (1-1-1) will next host Sioux Falls on September 19th.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s soccer team was able to play in front of their home fans for the first time on Friday.

Taking on Bemidji State, UMD took a 1-0 lead into the half thanks to a goal by Kaitlyn Beavers.

After that though, the Beavers responded with three unanswered goals in the 2nd half to come away with the 3-1 victory.

UMD (1-1-1) will next host Sioux Falls on September 19th.
