Students Show Bulldog Pride for Homecoming Week at UMD

DULUTH, Minn. — Students at the University of Minnesota Duluth are showing some school spirit for homecoming week.

The week is full of festivities and celebrations to bring students together and show off their bulldog pride.

Monday was merch day at Kirby Garage for students to grab some free Bulldog merch or purchase a homecoming shirt.

There are events happening each day this week, including “Top The Tater Tuesday” and “Food Truck Friday.”

“Homecoming is really important because it gives students a sense of pride. You know, we give out all this merch and they get to wear it and wear their school, wear their brand and come together at all these events and have a good time,” Trevor Koenig, Traditions Chair of the Kirby Program Board said.

As for the homecoming game, the Bulldogs football team will take on Minnesota State University Moorhead at noon on Saturday.
