UW-Superior Breaking Ground on New Track & Field Throwing Facility

The school plans on the facility being ready by May.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- UW-Superior continues to build.

On Thursday, the school announced that they will be building a new throwing facility.

It will be located behind Ross-Hawkes Hall, on the site of the former baseball field.

UWS, who’s set to host the 2026 UMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, will be able to support events such as the hammer throw, discus, shot put, and lastly the javelin.

The school plans on the facility being ready by May.
