Carlton County Animal Rescue’s First Fundraising Gala A Success
CARLTON, Minn. — Nearly 200 people came together Saturday night to support Carlton County Animal Rescue’s foster program and its efforts to build a physical animal shelter.
The Seasons of Love Gala was the first-ever fundraiser for the non-profit, which formed in 2022.
The gala was held at the Four Seasons Event Center in Carlton. FOX 21’s Dan Hanger was honored to emcee.
Dozens and dozens of businesses donated raffle and silent auction items to help raise thousands of dollars. The dessert auction alone raised nearly $2,000.
There were plenty of dogs and cats on hand who are ready for a forever home. A ferret even made an appearance.
While the goal is to eventually raise enough money for a shelter, CCAR relies on volunteers to foster rescues until they find their forever home.
