The Cloquet/Carlton girls soccer team will enter section tournament play on a four-game winning streak.

CLOQUET, Minn.- The Cloquet/Carlton girls soccer team will enter section tournament play on a five-game winning streak.

On Thursday night, the Lumberjacks were able to get the best of Esko, 3 to 1.

It’s just the 2nd loss of the season for Esko.

Both teams now turn their attention to their respective section tournaments.

In boys action, Hermantown and Duluth Denfeld settled for a 2-2 tie.

The Hawks are next in action in the section tournament.

As for the Hunters, they’re at Princeton on Saturday.
