UW-Superior Alumni Host Scholarship Fundraiser “Soirée”

SUPERIOR, Wis. — University of Wisconsin-Superior alumni came together to help raise scholarship funds for students.

The event, which was dubbed a “Superior Soirée”, is an annual tradition from the “University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation”, with the money being raised going towards various scholarships for current students.

“Thank you for your generosity and your presence here tonight, for fueling opportunities for our students and ensuring that our university continues to thrive,” said the school’s Chancellor Renee Wachter during her speech to attendees.

“You are the reason that we can dream big and deliver on those dreams.”

The evening was complete with music and silent auctions, and guests were encouraged to spend big for a good cause.
