#13 UMD Football Lights Up the Scoreboard Against Southwest Minnesota State
The Bulldogs improve to 6-0 after defeating the Mustangs 63-28.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD football team aimed for its sixth consecutive win on Saturday afternoon, taking on Southwest Minnesota State.
After the Mustangs took their opening drive down the field for a touchdown, the Bulldogs scored 35 unanswered points to take a 35-7 lead into halftime.
UMD kept up the pressure in the second half, defeating the Mustangs 63-28 to improve to 6-0 on the year.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Senior quarterback Kyle Walljasper, who had 278 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
The Dogs will hit the road on Saturday, October 11th, to take on Northern State (3-2).
Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
