Cass Lake stabbing leaves 1 injured

CASS LAKE, Minn. —  A man is in the hospital after a stabbing in Cass Lake.

According to authorities, on Saturday, around 2:24 a.m., they received a call about an assault in the area of 925 Grant Utley Ave SW.

When deputies arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times.

Authorities say the man was then taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Due to conflicting information about the attack from the victim and a witness, authorities say this is an active investigation. Check back for updates.
