Victims stable following McGregor plane crash

MCGREGOR, Minn. — The three victims involved in a plane crash near McGregor Airport are in stable condition, officials say.

The victims have been identified as Kaden Brazinsky, 23, of Ham Lake; Wyatt Sherry, 22, of New Richmond, and Jocelyn Erlandson, 23.

The plane, a Piper PA-28-140, lost power shortly after takeoff Sunday and attempted to return to the airport when it went down about a half-mile short of the runway.

Following the crash, all three were transported to hospitals.

A small dog on board ran away following the crash and is still missing.

It is a small Yorkie named Mako, which has a brown face and a grey body.  If you spot him, you are asked to call 612-220-5120.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
