Coffee Conversation: Laundry Love Hosts Fall Fest Fundraisers to Support Neighbors in Need
DULUTH, Minn. — Laundry Love, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing clean clothes to those in need, is partnering with the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd to host two upcoming fundraising events in October.
Susan Boutin with Laundry Love joined Fox 21 live on Tuesday, October 7 to talk more about the fundraises and the organizations mission.
A Fall Fest Craft and Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a Potato Bar Fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to noon—both at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
The church is part of Stepping On Up, a local coalition of faith communities working to end homelessness and support low-income neighbors. All proceeds will benefit Laundry Love’s mission to restore dignity through access to clean laundry.
