Duluth Police Detain Knife-Lunging Suspect
DULUTH/HERMANTOWN, Minn. — A man is accused of lunging at shoppers with a knife in Duluth on Sunday.
The call for help came in around 12:20 p.m. at the Petsmart along Mall Drive.
When officers arrived, the 31-year-old suspect had already taken off, according the police.
Several more reports lead duluth police to the area of Stebner Park in Hermantown where a perimeter was set up, which included the nearby Hermantown Community Church.
The man was eventually detained and taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
Nobody was injured.
Police said no victims have come forward.
