Debay’s Late Goal in OT Sends Grand Rapids Girls Soccer to First-Ever State Tourney

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- The Grand Rapids girls soccer team will finally be able to play on the big stage at state.
On Tuesday, the Thunderhawks defeated the Hawks of Hermantown 1-0 in the Section 7AA title game.
Kylie Debay scored the lone goal with 58 seconds left in overtime.
The state tournament matchups will be announced over the weekend.
