Prep Football: Hermantown, Duluth Denfeld, & Esko End Regular Season with Victories, Proctor Falls

The final week of the Minnesota prep football season kicked off on Wednesday night. 

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- The final week of the Minnesota prep football season kicked off on Wednesday night.

In Hermantown, a rematch of last years section 7AAAA championship game took place, as the 6-1 Hawks hosted the 6-1 North Branch Vikings.

The Hawks dominated all game, defeating the Vikings 56-26.

Hermantown ends the regular season with a 7-1 record.

Cloquet aimed for win number four on the year, taking on Duluth Denfeld.

The Hunters pick up the road win 25-7 over the Lumberjacks.

Duluth Denfeld finished the year 2-6.

Cloquet wraps up the year with a 3-5 record.

Up the North Shore, a potential Section 7AAA playoff preview as Esko visited Two Harbors.

Esko takes care of business, defeating the Agates 28-6 to improve to 6-2.

Two Harbors concluded the season 5-3.

Finally, the Proctor Rails fell at home to Pine City 34-0.

The Rails end the year 0-9.
