UMD Sophomore Jayson Shaugabay Named NCHC Forward of the Week
The Bulldogs now sit at 5-1 on the year.
DULUTH, Minn.- In college hockey, UMD Sophomore Jayson Shaugabay was named N-HC forward of the week on Tuesday.
This is Shaugabay’s second conference honor this season.
In the Bulldogs home and home series with Bemidji State, the Warroad Native scored 3 goals and tallied 4 assists in UMD’s series sweep against the Beavers.
The Bulldogs now sit at 5-1 on the year.
Shaugabay and the Bulldogs will hit the road this weekend to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Puck drop for game one is on Friday, October 24th, at 7 p.m.
