Three UWS Yellowjackets Earn UMAC Athlete of the Week Honors

A trio of UWS Yellowjackets earned conference awards for their performances over the weekend.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- A trio of UWS Yellowjackets earned conference awards on Tuesday for their performances over the weekend.

Dylan Uitto and Simone Stephens of cross country along with Savanna Hering of volleyball earned UMAC athlete of the week honors.

Uitto recorded a personal best at the Augustana invitational while Stephens placed 57th for the women’s squad.

On the hardwood, Hering recorded 46 total digs against Minnesota Morris and Crown.
