Family of missing Fond du Lac man asks hunters to remain alert

CLOQUET, Minn. — It’s been more than a year since a member of the Fond du Lac band of Lake Superior Chippewa went missing.

31-year-old Peter Martin was last seen on March 8 of 2024, at his home on the Fond du Lac reservation.

Martin’s family is now asking hunters to be alert.

They are urging anyone spending time in the woods this season to be extra observant and report anything unusual that could help bring answers to Martin’s disappearance.

A reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for credible information in this case.

Officials say if you find any clues, to contact law enforcement immediately.
