Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Celebration And Dinner

DULUTH, MINN- The Duluth area chamber of commerce hosted their 155th annual Forging The Future event at the DECC tonight. Every year thirteen hundred leaders from the community come together to celebrate achievements and challenges from the past year. CEO of API group Russ Becker was a keynote at the dinner. He spoke about ways to grow the economy in middle eastern Minnesota. “I’m hoping that people leave here with a realistic idea about our region, but also that they’re inspired what we have in our region.” Says DACC President Matt Baumgartner.

Baumgartner also went on to say that after the dinner celebration, he hopes that the region reaches its best era.  He stated “We want to be on the map as the best place to raise children and we can do that if we have a vibrant economy, a vibrant business community, and a community that is prosperous for everyone who lives here.”
