ABRA Auto Body begins annual winter clothing drive
DULUTH, Minn.– After a trend of successful winter clothing drives, ABRA Auto Body in Scanlon is proud to bring it back.
Starting November 3rd, ARBA Auto Body will be accepting winter clothing donations.
Last year, they received 188 clothing pieces.
They’re looking for both child and adult winter gear.
The inspiration for this drive came after the company noticed united way’s need for community support.
ARBA management told FOX 21 there has been some creativity with donations.
“We’ve even had people in the community make clothing, hats and mittens and stuff like that. So, anything is welcome. There’s a real need for it. And with you know, the winner promising to be harsher, it’ll go a long way for helping people,” said Jeff Oaks, General Manager ARBA Auto Body.
Donations can be dropped off at their store front in Scanlon.
The drive itself goes until December 3rd, but ARBA staff said they’ll gladly accept donations after.
