UMD DEI winter clothing drive begins
DULUTH, Minn.– Happening now until the beginning of December, you can support the community, while supporting UMD bulldog games.
The UMD DEI clothing drive aims at gathering donations for k-12 students.
Over the past three years, they’ve accumulated over 200 bags of clothes.
Drop boxes are available during all home UMD basketball games.
The UMD ticket office, and Minnesota Power headquarters is collecting for this cause as well.
“It’s super, always super special to see how everyone in the Duluth community supports UMD athletics. And so being able to give back to that same community is super impactful,” said Emily Bastian, UMD Track Team Member.
The clothing collection will be distributed to K-12 schools around the area.
All boxes will accept donations until December 5th.
