Upper Lakes Foods Show serving up hungry customers and guests
DULUTH, Minn.– The DECC in Duluth was packed with 60 Upper Lakes Foods vendors, showcasing a delicious sneak peek of what they’re offering.
The bi-annual event was prepared to serve thousands of hungry guests.
It’s meant to foster community connections and showcase standout products.
Upper Lakes Foods caters to 24-hundred customers around Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
Many of their partners are found in restaurants, hospitals and schools.
One of the chefs telling us, it’s been fun to get to know the crowd.
“For some of our customers that, you know, maybe live a little bit further out and, you know, kind of up on the border and all that stuff, they don’t always necessarily get a come down and see all the new products and stuff. So, to have it all in one central point, you know, it’s really great for upper lakes to really provide that community,” said Chris Stetson, Culinary Specialist, Upper Lake Foods.
Businesses both old and new attend this show.
‘Connolly’s Tom and Jerry Batter’ has stuck around for 75 years and has attended 15 Upper Lakes Food shows.
And they said, the excitement still feels brand new.
