Duluth man receives nearly 12 year sentence for 2024 drug bust
DULUTH, Minn — A Duluth man has been sentenced to nearly 12 years in prison following a drug bust in 2024.
According to officials, 44-year-old Bryon Terrell Robinson was driving on I-35 from Minneapolis to Duluth on July 23, 2024, when he was caught with 220 grams of fentanyl and over 2 kg of meth.
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force had observed Robinson engage in suspected drug deals in Duluth and then obtained a search warrant for Robinson’s car and home.
Additional drug distribution material was found upon a search of Robbinson’s home.
Officials say Robinson admitted that he intended to sell the drugs in the Twin Ports.
Robinson was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and was sentenced to 142 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release.
