UWS Men’s Soccer Outlasts Bethany Lutheran in OT to Win 9th Straight UMAC Championship
Jake Kidd netted the game-winner to give UWS their 9th title.
SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior men’s soccer team’s reign as UMAC champions continued on Saturday.
Facing Bethany Lutheran in the title game, the Yellowjackets needed overtime to put the Vikings away.
Just one minute and 15 seconds into the extra period, the hometown kid, Jake Kidd netted the game-winner to give UWS the 2-1 victory.
Seth Davidson had the other goal for the Yellowjackets in the win.
UW-Superior will find out who their first round opponent is at the national tournament on Monday.
