UWS launches online RN to BSN program
SUPERIOR, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin Superior is celebrating the launch of a new program.
The college held a press conference on Monday to announce the launch of a fully online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
The program is designed for working registered nurses to earn their degree online, at their own pace, through 7 or 14-week courses each term.
The aim is to fill a gap in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, as similar programs are hours away.
“This program is a part of the BSN at home collaborative, which includes six other universities scattered throughout the Universities of Wisconsin. It is a totally asynchronous program, which means students can work in their own time frames in order to complete the requirements,” Maria Cuzzo, UWS Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs said.
Applications for the program are now open for Spring 2026.
Students can also complete their clinical requirements for the program in the Twin Ports area.
