Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser and Supply Drive

DULUTH, Minn. — The McDonald’s on London Road held a fundraiser and supply drive yesterday evening for the local Ronald McDonald House.

From 4 to 7 p.m., 20% of food sales and 100% percent of cookie sales and supplies donated by people went straight to the local Ronald McDonald House. These funds help the non-profit support families of children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals by providing free temporary lodging. This allows families to take time to focus on their child as they work through difficult times.

“We’ve already gotten some support,” said Inga Parsons, people experience lead for McDonald’s. “We’re all kind of trying to work together to make sure that this is successful.”

The staff shared that the event brought in $636, along with a box full of donations.
