Schroeder Finishes Iditarod
Chisholm musher Nathan Schroeder has finally crossed the finish line of the 2016 Iditarod.
Schroeder reached the final destination of Nome, Alaska around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
He finished the 964-mile race in 45th place. He had a time of 10 days, 22 hours, 29 minutes and 13 seconds.
This was Schroeder’s third time racing in the Iditarod.
Schroeder is a four-time champion of the John Beargrease Sled Dog race .
The Iditarod kicked off on March 5 in Anchorage.
Another 26 mushers remain out on the trails.
