SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Fans hoping to see Team Shuster play again in the Winter Olympic Games will have to wait at least another four more years.

Team Casper now moves on to a last chance qualification event in British Columbia in December.

Over on the women’s side, it was a successful weekend for Duluth native Cory Thiesse and Team Peterson.

Team Peterson clinched their 3rd straight U.S. Olympic Curling Team Trials after defeating Team Cousins, 8 to 4 on Saturday.

With the victory, Peterson and crew will head to British Columbia in a few weeks to try and secure a spot in the Winter games, set to be played in Italy in February.

Thiesse is already heading to the Olympics as she and fellow Duluth resident Korey Dropkin are set to compete in Mixed Doubles Curling.
