DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KVRR) —  An investigation is underway after the home of activist Winona LaDuke had several shots fired at it.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office responded to the drive-by shooting shortly after 6 last night.

LaDuke says two teen grandsons and a nephew were home but no one was hurt.

The incident happened near the intersection of State Hwy 34 and County Hwy 39 in Shell Lake Township.

LaDuke says some suspects have been identified but the sheriff’s office says if you were in this area around that time and noticed any suspicious or unusual activity, please contact them at 218-847-2661.

LaDuke is not sure if she’s being targeted or if the shooting is a random act.
