Bent Paddle hosts 10th annual Great Outdoors Party
DULUTH, Minn. — Outdoor enthusiasts packed Bent Paddle Brewing Company for its 10th annual Great Outdoors Party for Give to the Max Day.
The annual event featured local outdoor nonprofits like Duluth Area Horse Trail Alliance, Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores, and Duluth DEVO. The fundraiser allowed the community to meet and support the groups that build and maintain local trails and natural spaces. The festivities included a raffle and door prizes, live music, and a free pint for anyone who brought in winter gear for CHUM.
“It’s great to see old friends and people that support this. But yeah, it’s also really gratifying to see that people do value the work that these organizations do, and they actually show up,” said Hansi Johnson, engagement director for Minnesota Land Trust.
For those who couldn’t make it to the event, you can still donate through each organisation’s website.
