Friday Evening Northland Forecast: 11/21/2025

A Mild November Weekend

The average high temp is down to 35 degrees. The sunset is at a super early 4:28. I suppose there’s no stopping the inevitable slide into winter, at this point. But, we are not there yet. In fact, this weekend that we are on the cusp of, is going to be a nice reprieve from the oncoming dark, cold and windy winter weather that is not far away. This weekend, high pressure will be the dominant feature, and we are looking for high temps in the mid-40’s for Saturday, Sunday and even Monday. Lots of sunshine for the first two days, then Monday looks pretty wet. Which is good, as we are more than 11″ below normal on precip for the year. Saturday will have very light winds. Sunday will have gusty north and northwest winds. Then, Monday looks pretty rainy, which again, is a good thing!

Tuesday looks like the worst day of the week…of course, that all depends on your point of view. Tuesday will see rain turning to snow, and winds from the west at 35mph. It looks like 2-3″ of snow at most, and it may be less, depending on when the rain turns to snow. The high Tuesday will be in the upper 30’s. On Wednesday, the snow will end, but the temps will plummet, and the wind will pick up. The high on Wednesday will only be about 28 degrees, with west winds 20-30mph. That sounds pretty miserable. And Thanksgiving Thursday will be partly sunny, windy and quite chilly, with a high of only 26 degrees. By Friday morning, the low will be 17 degrees. Yikes…that’s gonna be a shock to the system!

So, enjoy this mild, sunny and easy weekend. Next week will be a wild ride, leading up to a sunny, cold and windy Thanksgiving!
