UMD Men’s & Women’s Hockey Drop One Spot in USCHO Poll

Both teams will be back in action on December 5th. 

DULUTH, Minn.- On the ice, the UMD men’s hockey team falls to 5th in the recent USCHO poll after their series split with Colorado College over the weekend.

On Friday, the Bulldogs secured the 4-2 win after Max Plante recorded his first hat trick with UMD.

But Saturday, the Tigers knocked off UMD in overtime 2-1.

For the women’s squad, they also dropped in the recent USCHO poll.

UMD currently sits at 6th in the national rankings after getting swept by third ranked Ohio State.

Both teams will be back in action on December 5th.
