City of Duluth offering complimentary parking ramps on Small Business Saturday plus other selected days

DULUTH, Min. – The City of Duluth’s Parking Services division is offering a select number of complimentary parking days one four days.

The ramps include Lakeview Medical District Ramp, Technology Village Ramp, and HART District Ramps will all participate. Free days are:

Saturday, November 29 (Small Business Saturday)
Thursday, December 4
Thursday, December 11, and
Thursday, December 18

In making the announcement Parking Services Manager Mark Bauer said, “By offering these free parking days in these public parking ramps, we’re hoping to refamiliarize folks with the ramps and their newly-installed access control systems, which are enhancing the safety and cleanliness of these ramps.”

President of Downtown Duluth Kristi Stokes added, “It’s a chance for our customers to better understand the new technology and to see the improvements since the ramps have been secured. They are cleaner, safer and easy to use. Some of our busiest days ahead are Small Business Saturday and the holiday shopping season. Here’s one more convenient way for visitors to enjoy their stay without rushing to pay a meter.”
