UMD’s Kleber & Plante Named to U.S. National Junior Team Preliminary Roster
Future UMD goalie and former Proctor Rail A.J Reyelts was also named to the preliminary roster.
DULUTH, Minn.- UMD sophomores Adam Kleber and Max Plante have been making plays for the UMD men’s hockey team this season.
Now the duo will suit up for Team USA, as the pair was named to the 2026 U.S. National Junior Team Preliminary roster on Monday.
Kleber and Plante helped the U.S to a 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal last January.
The UMD sophomores will skate at a camp right here in Duluth at Amsoil Arena for a chance to make a final roster spot.
The camp runs from December 15th to the 23rd.
Also skating at the camp with Plante and Kleber is future UMD goalie and former Proctor Rail A.J Reyelts.
The U.S National Junior Team final roster will be announced on December 24th.
