Crews respond to Pequaywan Township house fire
PEQUAYWAN TOWNSHIP, Minn. — Crews responded to a house fire in Pequaywon Township Thursday night.
According to officials, the fire started just before 7 p.m. on Pequaywan Lake Road.
The owner of the home called 911 after seeing flames near a wood stove in the basement.
He was able to safely evacuate himself and his two dogs and was assessed for smoke inhalation.
The home was heavily damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
