Wilderness Hire Former NHL Pro Adam Bennett
Bennett was originally selected 6th overall in the 1989 draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
CLOQUET, Minn.- A former NHL pro has recently joined the Minnesota Wilderness.
Adam Bennett is the team’s new mindset coach.
Head Coach Zach Stepan said that Bennett is someone the players can bounce ideas off of and is a resource to help them get through a long season.
He was originally selected 6th overall in the 1989 draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. Bennett also had a stint with the Edmonton Oilers during his NHL Career. He played in 69 total games.
The players meet with Bennett at least once a month.
