Criminal history of man accused of shooting officer & crashing into Superior Middle School

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Dylan Charles-Edward Wallace is accused of shooting a Superior Police Officer, crashing a vehicle into Superior Middle School and domestic abuse from incidents over the weekend.  He made his fist appearance in court on December 8, 2025.  Hs’s facing four felony charges including: Attempt 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide (Use of a Dangerous Weapon), Strangulation and Suffocation (Domestic Abuse), Criminal Damage to Property (Over $2500) and Discharge Firearm in School Zone.

This is not the first time Wallace had been in the justice system, but this the most severe case.

Criminal Offenses:

In Wisconsin on August 24, 2022 he was found guilty of Resisting/Failing to Stop for an officer.  He was given one year probation, plus a fine of $125.

In Minnesota on July 25, 2023 he was found guilty of 4th Degree Damage to Property $1 – $500.  Between fines, fess and restitution he had to pay $264.27.

In Minnesota on January 27, 2023 he plead guilty to Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.  He served four days in jail and had to pay $140 in fees and fines.

In Minnesota on September 23, 2022 he plead guilty to “Carry/Possess Pistol without Permit in a Public Place.  He served six days in jail and pay $135 in fees and fines.

In Minnesota also on September 23, 2022 he plead guilty to Second-Degree Driving While Impaired. He was sentenced to two days in jail and had to pay $166 in fees and fines.

In Wisconsin on September 18, 2017 he was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct.  His exact sentencing was not clear from on-line documents, other than he did have to turn over a DNA sample to the state.

Civil Offenses:

In Wisconsin on December, 20, 2023 he was found guilty of Possession of Marijuana and fined $145.40.

In Wisconsin on February 15, 2022 he was found guilty of Damage to Property and fined $326.50.

In Wisconsin on November 20, 2025 he was found guilty and fined $200.50 for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.

In Wisconsin also on November 20, 2025 he was found guilty and fined $401.50 for Driving Through/Around RR Crossing Gate.

In Wisconsin plus on November 20, 2025 he was found guilty and fined $175.30 for Non-Registration of Vehicle.

In Wisconsin on November 11, 2025 he was found guilty and fined $175.30 for Non-Registration of Vehicle.

In Wisconsin on February 19, 2025 he was found guilty and fined $175.30 for “Fail/Yield for Yield Sign”.

In Minnesota on February 5, 2025 he was found guilty of driving after his license was revoked and driving 80 miles per hour in a 70.   Between fines and fees he had to pay $355.

In Minnesota also on February 5, 2025 he was found guilty of speeding in a 55-mile per hour zone, not having proof of insurance and not having insurance. Between fines and fees he had to pay $575.

In Minnesota and on February 5, 2025 he was found guilty in a separate case of    speeding in a 55-mile per hour zone, and not having insurance.  Between fines and fees for that case he had to pay $377.

In Wisconsin on December 17, 2024 he was found guilty and fined $245.50 for Unnecessary acceleration of a Motor Vehicle.

In Wisconsin on February 19, 2024 he was found guilty and fined $233.29 for Failure of Occupant to Notify Police of Accident.

In Minnesota on March 24, 2023 he was found guilty driving after his license was suspended.  He had to pay $287 in fines and fees.

In Minnesota on December 2, 2021 he was found guilty and had to pay $175 in fines and fees for speeding in a 70-mile per hour zone.

In Minnesota on April 9, 2021 he was found guilty of speeding in a 30-mile per hour zone and had to pay $250 in fines and fees.

In Minnesota on September 4, 2019 he was found guilty of speeding in a 30-mile per hour zone and had to pay $255 in fines and fees.

In Minnesota on September 19, 2019 he was found guilty of Reckless Driving and had to pay $185 in fines and fees.

In Minnesota on July 19, 2019 he was found guilty of of speeding in a 50 mile-per-hour zone.  He had to pay $415 in fees and fines.

In Minnesota on February 21, 2019 he was found guilty of driving after his license was suspended and had to pay $185 in fees and fines.

In Minnesota on January 3, 2019 he was found guilty of speeding in a 70 mile-per-hour zone.  He had to pay $155 in fees and fines.

In Minnesota on December 18, 2017 he was found of speeding in 70 mile-per-hour zone.  He had to pay $290 in fess and fines.

In Minnesota also on December 18, 2017 he was found guilty of driving without proof of insurance.  He had to pay $315 in fees and fines.
