UMD Women’s Basketball Guard Claire Bjorge Named NSIC North Division Player of the Week

DULUTH, Minn.- On the hardwood, UMD women’s basketball shooting guard Claire Bjorge was named NSIC North Division player of the week.

This honor marks Bjorge’s first NSIC conference award during her career with the Bulldogs.

In UMD’s last two conference wins, the sophomore guard averaged 21 points and 7 rebounds.

She also recorded a career high in points against Minnesota Crookston with 25.

The 5-2 Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday, December 11th, against Northern State.
