Esko Native Koi Perich Named AP Second Team All-Big Ten

Perich joins teammate Anthony Smith on the 2nd team.

ESKO, Minn.- Back on December 3rd, Esko native and Minnesota safety Koi Perich secured all-Big Ten conference honors for the 2nd straight year.

And Tuesday, he earned recognition from the Associated Press.

Perich landed on the AP second team All-Big Ten, joining teammate and defensive lineman Anthony Smith.

Number 3 finished 3rd on the team with 77 tackles. He also broke up three passes and one interception and a forced fumble.

Perich and the Gophers will next be in action on December 26th, playing New Mexico in the Rate Bowl.
