Coffee Conversation: Rubber Chicken Theater wraps up 2025 with holiday comedy shows
DULUTH, Minn. — Rubber Chicken Theater is wrapping up 2025 with two holiday-themed sketch comedy shows bringing local humor and seasonal silliness to downtown Duluth.
Brian Matuszak, owner of Rubber Chicken Theater, joined FOX 21 live on the morning show to talk more about it.
The first production, “Talk Duluthy to Me This Christmas, or, Santa’s Big DECC Energy,” runs December 19–20 and December 26–27. The show features original sketches and song parodies poking fun at Minnesota news, local personalities, and holiday traditions — all with a distinctly Duluth twist.
The theater will then ring in the new year with its annual “New Year’s Cluckin’ Eve” show on December 31. The one-night-only performance includes prize giveaways, audience-favorite sketches from the Christmas revue, and brand-new material written exclusively for New Year’s Eve.
All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at Studio Four inside the St. Louis County Depot. Tickets are $25 for the Christmas shows and $30 for New Year’s Eve. Cash or Venmo is accepted.
