Portion of 24th Avenue West temporarily closed

DULUTH, Minn. — A portion of 24th Ave West is temporarily closed.

Starting Monday, December 15, the road will be closed on the 1000-1200 block to allow crews to safely perform utility work.

Southbound traffic will detour onto Skyline Parkway to W Third Street. Northbound traffic will not need to detour

Officials say it will reopen on December 31.`
